Learn more about Tyvek.
A bit of history:
Among the variety of wristbands and bracelets available, we find the leaders in terms of consumption, quality, and price: Tyvek.
But do you know what Tyvek is?
Tyvek is a trademark patented in 1965 by DuPont and commercially sold in 1967. It is made from polyethylene fibers, a derivative of ethylene, and is one of the most common plastics due to its low cost and simplicity in manufacturing.
Its use:
The fact that Tyvek is made from polyethylene fibers makes it a flexible and relatively durable material. To break it, you would need scissors or a sharp object, and once removed, it is impossible to reuse or transfer to another user. Tyvek wristbands are very secure and comfortable; once closed, strategically located security cuts prevent removal without breaking or showing obvious signs of manipulation, preventing misuse. Surprisingly, even if cut and stretched, they maintain their print intact!
Tyvek wristbands have a texture similar to paper, they are lightweight, resistant to pulls and tears, waterproof, and are recommended for approximately two days of use. They are breathable, so even if you wet them and wear them for hours, they won’t irritate the skin.
They work perfectly for the purpose you intend to use them for! Tyvek wristbands are traditionally used by hotels, restaurants, pools, campsites, farms, and all kinds of events that require security and control.
Our Tyvek wristbands are the most requested for major events like worldwide star concerts, so if you’ve been to a concert of your favorite artist, we were probably there with you!
One of their greatest advantages is that they can be printed in full color. Design limitations? None, we help your idea look amazing on your Tyvek wristbands.
Regarding their use, don’t be fooled by their soft and comfortable appearance. These wristbands withstand different climates and temperature changes, are resistant to seawater and pool water, and also to sweat. Besides perfectly fulfilling their function, they are an excellent promotional item.
Print your logo on them and make sure everyone sees it! Since they are printable, various security measures can be incorporated, such as barcodes, QR codes, holograms, and serial numbers. For those clients seeking more technology and wanting to impress their customers or guests, we proudly announce that we can adapt RFID technology to your Tyvek wristbands!
With our RFID-adaptable Tyvek wristbands, you get the simplicity of a traditional Tyvek wristband and the most innovative technology of the moment. For these reasons and more, our Tyvek wristbands shine in consumption control, access, and identification.
Even though it may seem like it, Tyvek wristbands are not made of paper.
When you need to discard your Tyvek wristband, remember first that it can be recycled. Despite its striking resemblance to paper, it should not be recycled alongside paper.
It is made of plastic, so you should recycle it with plastic bottles, bags, or other similar materials.
At Brazaletes México, we lead by example, recycling and reusing Tyvek to reduce our environmental footprint.
TYVEK: Undoubtedly the best choice for mass event control!
In Brazaletes México, we actively participate in the recycling program conducted by the Municipality of Benito Juárez in Cancún, Quintana Roo.
